Ground Under Productions the record label
Ground Under Productions the record label announced closure in September 2005, finishing in 2006 with the release of Angel Theory - Repossession and Resurrection Eve - Ascension. While the label is closed, we support our artists 100%, most of the catalogue is still available (also now available via most digital distribution networks).
Angel Theory The brain child of one Mr. Charlie Fenech, Angel Theory is a beautiful electro creation, melding smooth basslines [simular to Daniel Myer's many projects like Clear Vision or Haujobb], moving rhythms [simular to Dirk Ivens ala Klinik + Dive] and haunting melody creating a very professional and slick sound. The first EP 'Transmission' came out December 2003, and the album 'Fatal Condition' early February 2004. With excellent debut success, Angel Theory did a brief tour in August 2004 in Netherlands, Germany + UK - A few shows in the East of America Apr/May 2005 and pounded the outdoor Parkburhne venue at Leipzig's Wave-Gotik-Treffen with the release of the new EP 'Black + Blue'. Angel Theory's latest album 'Repossession' is now available.
Resurrection Eve The most exciting electronic-goth act since... ever! Complex and thick electronics ready for pure swoon or the dancefloor with favourable simularities to 80's electro and modern day futurepop and overlayed with Jordan's orchestral vocals providing a very intimate and personal content. Resurrection Eve's offering 'Rapture' received rave reviews and after an extended absence returned early 2006 with the astonishing sister album 'Ascension'.
Snog Fore-runners of Australian dark-electro since the early 90s, GUP re-released their deleted [in Australia] classic first album in a new digipack and with an action packed special tracklisting including hard to find and deleted bonus tracks - specially chosen by Snog mastermind David Thrussell himself.
Sobriquet The beautiful and angelic sounding Elenor joins GUP after an Australia electronic resume that includes : Soulscraper, Snog and previous Sobriquet releases always rating high on public radio [including Australian wide broadcast Triple J]. Elenor is currently working with other musicians for new Sobriquet material, and also working on a new project titled The Crystalline Effect.
Stark One man prodigy child Lee Bulig brings translates all his worst nightmares into music with Stark. Harsh industrial [ala :Wumpscut: and Hocico] at its best pushing you to the edge of your seat in eager anticipation of death, decay, blood and dancefloor! Lee also has a rhythmic noise sideproject titled "Neon Womb" signed to Cranial Fracture. Lee's debut EP 'Wield' and awesome album 'The Surgical Suite' are sweept the world in awe and now there is great expectations [that are wholly lived up to] with 2nd album 'Brave New Desire'.
